Edurie uses roles and permissions to decide what each account can see and do.
Your school assigns roles to your account. Roles contain permissions, and
permissions unlock pages, buttons, filters, and workflow actions.

School admins
You usually see your own profile, classes, grades, applications, announcements,
events, and library information. If your school links you to another student,
you may see that student’s records too.
You can open classes assigned to you. In assigned classes, you can usually view
rosters, grade items, and the gradebook even when you do not have broad admin
access to every class in the school.
The Approvals page appears when you are eligible to review at least one active
approval flow. You only see approval tasks routed to you.
Admin pages are controlled by module permissions such as list, view, create,
update, delete, approve, submit, import, sync, or archive.
Why a page or button may be missing
- Your role does not include the needed permission.
- The record is outside your school, class, program, section, or approval step.
- The workflow is locked, finalized, archived, or waiting for another user.
- Your school has not configured that module yet.
- You are in the personal workspace but need the school admin workspace, or the
other way around.
Use the command palette search. If a page does not appear there, your account
probably does not have access to that destination.
Common access patterns
Exact role names can differ by school. Ask a school admin to check the role
assigned to your account when you need access changed.
Admin navigation permissions
School admin navigation is permission-gated. These are the access areas that decide
whether a page appears.
Permissions affect visibility and data access. Do not share another user’s
account to work around missing access; ask an admin to grant the correct role.
