Finding an Open Admission Cycle
An admission cycle is the specific intake period (for example, “Academic Year 2025–2026 – Grade 7 Applicants”) that a school opens for new students. To see which cycles are currently accepting applications:- Sign in to your school’s portal at
edurie.com/{school-slug}. - In the sidebar, go to Applications → Browse Cycles (
/{school-slug}/admission-applications/cycles). - Each cycle card shows the cycle name, target grade level, and the application deadline.
- Click a cycle to read its requirements and start your application.
Only cycles with an Open status accept new applications. Cycles marked Closed or Upcoming are visible for reference but cannot be applied to yet.
Completing and Submitting Your Application
Select a cycle and start your application
From the Browse Cycles page, click Apply on the cycle you want. This creates a new application in Draft status and opens the application form at
/{school-slug}/admission-applications/apply/{cycleId}.Fill in your personal information
Complete the required personal details — name, date of birth, contact information, and any custom fields the school has configured (for example, previous school, languages spoken, or medical information). Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required before you can submit.
Upload required documents
The Documents section lists every file the school requires (for example, birth certificate, report card, recommendation letter). For each item:
- Click Upload next to the document name.
- Select the file from your device (accepted formats and size limits are shown per item).
- Wait for the upload confirmation before moving on.
Select your preferred classes
If the cycle includes pre-enrollment, a Class Selection section appears after documents. Browse the available class offerings and check the ones you prefer. Your selections are preferences only — final enrollment is confirmed by the school after acceptance.
Review your application
Before submitting, click Review to see a summary of every section. Verify that all information is accurate and all required documents show a green ✅ status.
Tracking Your Application Status
After submitting, go to Applications → My Applications (/{school-slug}/admission-applications) to monitor progress. Each application card shows its current status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | You have started but not yet submitted the application. |
| Submitted | Your application has been received and is in the queue for review. |
| Under Review | The admissions team is actively reviewing your file. |
| Accepted | Congratulations — your application has been approved. |
| Waitlisted | You are on the waitlist; the school will contact you if a spot opens. |
| Rejected | Your application was not approved for this cycle. |
Responding to a Document Rejection
If the admissions team flags one of your uploaded documents as unacceptable (for example, the file was blurry or an incorrect document was uploaded), the status of that document changes to Rejected and you will receive a notification. To re-upload a rejected document:- Open the application from My Applications.
- Scroll to the Documents section. Rejected documents are highlighted with a red banner and a reason note from the reviewer.
- Click Re-upload next to the rejected document.
- Select the corrected file and confirm the upload.
- The document status resets to Pending Review and the admissions team is notified to re-check it.
Re-uploading a document does not change your overall application status — it remains Under Review until the admissions team completes their assessment.
After Acceptance: Enrollment and Your Student Number
Once your application status changes to Accepted, the school will convert your application into an active enrollment. Here is what happens next:- Student Number assigned — You receive a unique student number in the format
YYYY-NNNNN(for example,2025-00142). This number identifies you in all official school records. - Enrollment confirmed — Your pre-enrollment class selections are reviewed and finalised by the registrar. Your confirmed schedule will appear on the Classes & Grades page.
- Invoice generated — An enrollment invoice for tuition and fees is generated and sent to your registered email. Your school may also display it in the portal’s Billing section.
If you do not see your student number or confirmed classes within the timeframe communicated by your school, contact the registrar’s office with your application reference number.
