# Quickstart

> Sign in, choose a school, find your workspace, and use navigation in Edurie.

Use this when you are new to Edurie or recently added to a school.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Sign in">
    Open Edurie from the link your school gave you. Use the email address your
    school invited or registered.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a school">
    If your account belongs to more than one school, choose the school you want to
    work in. Each school has its own people, classes, admissions, billing, and
    settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the right workspace">
    Use the sidebar guide that matches the task: classes and grades, admissions,
    enrollment, billing, setup, or operations.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Use the sidebar">
    The sidebar shows pages available to you. If a page is missing, your role may
    not include access or the module may not be configured yet.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search with the command palette">
    Use the Search item in the sidebar to jump to pages you have access to. The
    palette can show both personal and admin destinations when your account has
    both kinds of access.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## If something is missing

If a page or button is missing, your account may not have the needed access, the
school may not have enabled that module yet, or the record may not apply to you.
Ask a school admin to check your role and permissions.

<Info>
  Edurie hides pages and actions you cannot use. This is expected behavior, not a
  sign-in problem.
