# Library and communications

> Use announcements, events, calendar, and library pages in the personal workspace.

Use these pages to read school updates and access library features your school has
enabled.

## Announcements and events

Announcements are messages from the school. Events are dated activities. Open them
from the sidebar to track school updates and schedules.

## Calendar

The Calendar page collects schedule information available to your account. For
students and teachers, this can include class-related events and sessions.

## Library

The Library area can include:

* Overview
* Catalog
* Circulation
* Reports

Some library pages may be unavailable until your school configures library data.

## Clearance and evaluations

Clearance and Evaluations are school-specific workflows. If your school uses them,
the pages appear in your personal academic navigation.

  evaluation, ask your school admin whether it has been published to your account.
