# Classes

> Open classes, schedules, rosters, grade items, and gradebooks from your personal workspace.

The Classes page lists classes connected to you. A class can appear because you are
enrolled as a student, assigned as a teacher, or granted view access.

## Class tabs

Open a class to see these tabs:

| Tab         | What it shows                                                                |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Overview    | Class details, credits, schedule, teachers, students, and upcoming sessions. |
| Enrollments | The roster, when you are allowed to view it.                                 |
| Grade items | Quizzes, exams, activities, and other graded work.                           |
| Gradebook   | Scores and computed grades.                                                  |

## What you see here

What a class shows depends on how it is connected to you:

* **Enrolled as a student** — check schedules, published grade items, and grade results.
* **Assigned as a teacher** — manage grading for the class from the Gradebook tab.
* **Granted view access** — open the tabs your access allows, such as Overview and rosters.

## Grade visibility

Draft grade items stay hidden from students. Published or locked grade items can be
visible depending on your school's grading setup and the class workflow.
